I have an issue I would love to have you discuss on The Write Editing. When you pitch your project at conference and the agent/editor/publisher requests that you send them your entire manuscript, exactly what do you send? Do you go the official submission way by following every guideline on their website, or do you do some variation of the normal process? It's especially confusing when you know the agent/editor/publisher on a first-name basis. Should I do a cover letter, query letter, one-sheet, or full-blown proposal? Should it be formal or semi-casual? Help!
Ladies, I want to compliment you on your site. It was a pleasure to go through. And a hefty congratulations to you, Andrea, on your book award!
